So I start my morning by checking my portfolio and I just had to smirk at the usual etrade banner ad, targeting the financial neophyte in hopes of extracting whatever the bigger fish haven't yet stolen. The ad appeals to me about as much as a door-to-door vacuum cleaner salesman, but I guess it works on some people. The previous etrade ad enjoins the viewer to get Market Insights from Rusty. That's when I knew the bloom was off the rose and "egressed" the markets.But I guess it's not just the pizza guy that gets scammed by multi-level managment (MLM)/Ponzi schemes.
